I can't get this silly grin off my face. It's been that kind of day.

Last night around 10, my brother called to let me know that his daughter arrived healthy and happy. I'm so thrilled to be an auntie to another girl, and the Boo's not the little one anymore. Jason and I already had a full Saturday planned but decided that we just couldn't wait another day to meet her, so we squeezed in a trip to Dover before the birthday party we were scheduled to attend in the afternoon.

Jason hasn't written about the third part of our day yet. Since I can't sleep, I'll just pick up where he left off.

We arrived at my mother-in-law's house to find the table set and May-May and Kay-Kay happy in their pajamas. I'd brought Kiki's along in case she wanted to change, but she declined and said, "This way, I can be the star."

*sigh*

When things got under way, we did the "follow the string" game... where each person is given a color and follow a string of yarn throughout the house to get to their stocking. The yarn has a number of gifts tied to it that you discover as you mosey along. This was Kiki's first year seeing that and she really seemed to enjoy the exercise.

Kiki also really seemed to like being near her new cousin. She tried to teach him to
