I've been a little bit lax in blogging about our family Christmas, and want to apologize for that. As I'm sure everyone realizes, Christmas is a wonderful, but hectic time of year.  And with an 8-year-old and 2-year-old in tow, we were lucky to have time to breathe.

We had some wonderful gift exchanges and, as always, we were spoiled. On Christmas day, we had three distinct gift-opening events, starting with seeing what Santa brought and our immediate family gift exchange (thank you, Kiki, for that 6:30 a.m. start time). Let me start off by briefly discussing my appearance at Ledge Street this year.   As many of you probably know, my first appearance as the jolly old elf was here last year after some tragic circumstances led me to volunteer and rent a suit.   This year, I bought my own suit (which is pretty awesome I think), and was able to reprise my
